What I Noticed, of All Off Brand Cables, other than Apple

They tend to break in inconsistent inside shorting out.

What i mean is inside chips just stop charging. = Even if outside cable looks perfectly fine = it just wont charge.

Bend Test Don’t really Matter. I has had so many cable look fine, but stop charging, i noticed some has burnt marks near chip. = Chip inside dead.

Reason Why Cables Tend to Break Fast:

Myself Ex: i tend to have my cable in portrait mode when charging while using my iPad.

The strain on cable inside to the chip that burns out before braided cable.

Cheap Alternative Woven: Urgreen & Baseus, & other brands

Expensive: No, since inside chip burns out, before outer shell nylon.

Magnetic Cables: I don’t recommend them

Pros: easy accessibility

Cons: within months to 1 Year ish, they are Guaranteed to Break.

They can short out your lightning or usb c port or even kill your device, due to the ports are not built to withstand MagSafe.

Apple Cable Non Woven

Pros: both models of 1 or 2 Meters is 100 Watt Charging Speed,

Cons: durability the issue, you break the cable soft rubber, before it stop charging on you.

Apple Cable Woven

2 Models:

1 Meter Cable: has No E-Chip = Limited to 60 Watts Charging Speed, 480mbps.

2 Meter Cable: 240W 40gbps

Cons: White color will stain, better quality, but i feel it still not as durable, as i wanted.

While you can put on a heat shrink tube on strain part, it makes cable less flexible.

Which is why i like Apple Magsafe Charger, since it doesn’t deal with any port future Issues.

Cons: I noticed they like to short and stop working, they have inconsistent durability now days.

Warranty is No longer Lifetime for 99% of products.

Some Products sometimes change from Lifetime to 12 or 24 months in Listing Page, so remember to always take a screen shot of the listing o show proof when you bought it, it was lifetime warranty.

Reason why i think they Stopped Offering Lifetime is: they know most of it will die within 2 years.

Anker Powerline + II – seems to be its best option, lifetime warrenty, durable than others versions of its cables.
