I have used many Can opener at Restaurant, and open many cans per day.
Here my Tips for my Choice of Ease of Use and durability.
1 – Commercial Can Opener
Pros: easy to use, can be buy for life if take care of it.
Cons: space to rotate it, need a stable strong table.
Note: Buy a good brand, ours lasted for very long time, but finally stopped working, & wanted a cheaper replacement, so see Choice 2 & below.
I forgot what brand, ours was, but i think there no need for one for homes.
2 – OXO Good Grips Soft-Handled Manual Can Opener
Pros: its easy to use, effortless, grip, most long lasting blade
Cons: long term it will eventually have its blade dull and will not cut all the way, [This happens in all of Can Opener, just how long till it happens]
3 – Easy Crank Can Opener, 10.4 Inches, Black
Pros: good for arthritic hands
Cons: mixed quality issues, can rust
4 – Beneno Can Opener
Pros: easy to use, comfortable grip, feels heavy duty
Cons: can rust
5 – Swing-A-Way Comfort Grip Can Opener, Black
Pros: easy to use, comfortable grip
Cons: can rust
6 – Made in USA Can Opener
Pros: use to be good, now ok
Cons: products are not made the way they use, now can rust
7 – Ez-Duz-It Deluxe Can Opener
Pros: use to be good, now ok
Cons: products are not made the way they use, now can rust
8 – Korin Can Opener, 6.5x11x3cm, red
Pros: stays sharp, no moving parts
Cons: not best practice for safety, not for those with unstable hands or older seniors or kids, can injure self opening cans
9 – KitchenAid Classic Multifunction Can Opener / Bottle Opener
Pros: looks nice, cuts good at start
Cons: grip awkward handling, more force needed
10 – Cuisinart Metropolitan Collection Can Opener, Stainless Steel
Cons: looks cheaply made, quality
11 – Cheap Dollar Store Can Opener
Cons: works only for a short time, due to dull blade fast, grip not good
