While other has comparison chart, I want to give a reason to Buy a specific iPad over another.
Will give General Idea of its Use, and is it worth it to buy one over another.
I have all the iPad types before, but my favorite is still the iPad Mini 5.

iPad Mini 6
1 – Portable: means it can fit in coats pockets & jeans pocket.
2 – Reading Experience
Easier reading text:
Compared to iPhone 13 Pro Max, it has a better experience.
Bed laying side ways or just on lap on bed.
Manga are easier to read in this size, any larger or smaller has bad experience.
3 – Weight:
It’s lighter than iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro, iPad Pro 13 inch
So it makes it better to carry around reading and watching youtube.
Your hands won’t get tired of handling it.
Overall: its a great product. But wished the iPad Mini 6 removed the bezels.

Current Comparing iPad Mini 5 vs iPad Mini 6
Pros: more portable, can now fit in pockets, lighter weight.
Cons:
Fat Bezels – compared to previous version iPad Mini 5, text is smaller, and makes portrait mode reading Text bad.
Even increase Text Size doesn’t fix portrait mode reading experience.
Apple tried to make iPad Mini 6 a Landscape iPad = Jelly Scrolling for Portrait iPad Mini 6
Reason: portable gaming.
Fail: a lot of user use it more for scrolling safari, reading, manga, anime, youtube. So Portrait Mode matter more than Landscape.
Head Jack: having none = means another adaptor to carry. or full Bluetooth mode.

iPad Mini 7 or later Future Rumors:
OLED 1 Layer = Average OLED Screen Longevity vs Double Stack OLED of iPad Pro
Concern: Mini Led would last longer for screen, but future is Micro Led.
Fix Jelly Scrolling for Portrait Mode.
Cons: make Landscape mode Jelly Scroll like previous iPad Mini 5 & before versions, wished they added Promotion/120 Hz to fix it all together.

Should you Buy Now
If i can wait, I would wait for iPad Mini 7 to see if they made the Fat Bezel smaller.
I would buy a cheap good condition iPad Mini 5 for $100 – $200 ish.
I would go Mercari and eBay to hunt for one.
I didn’t like the iPad Mini 6 for its Text Size reading experience & Jelly Scrolling, so returned my.

Pros: cheapest model, getting started tier, mostly for schools.
Can handle most task other iPad does: like Gaming, YouTube, reading & etc.
Front-facing camera changes position to Landscape
Cons:
Screen Resolution worse of all.
Chips is always generations away.
Not all Yearly updates get passed to this device.

Waiting for Next update iPad 11, won’t make much a difference, due to this iPad has the lowest specs of all iPads versions.

Better Screen than basic iPad, but still worse than iPad Pro

Compared to iPad Mini 6, it just have M Chip, and Bigger Screen.
There not much difference between them.
Future: will have 1 Layer OLED

Underpowered Development Use: it build for iPad OS = can’t do what my MacBook Pro 14 or what Window Laptop does.
Like: a lot of software that exist in laptop, don’t exist in iPad OS.
Stage Manager: it can’t fix the experience of MacBook/Laptop.

I would only buy it, If you can work on iPad OS for IPad.
Why i would choose OLED over previous iPad Pro Mini Led = It has better Black Levels = feels better to my eyes. Somehow Mini Led for a person like myself need to wear glasses to read screen of iPad Pro 12.9 M1. I choose the OLED.
If want a higher quality screen to watch Netflix, Youtube, and experience better Gaming quality.
